Saved once
A payment is saved once, even if you tap twice or the signal drops. If the app is not sure, it tells you and checks again.
Never deleted
Payments are reversed with a reason, never deleted, so the history stays complete.
No silent overwrites
If two phones change the same thing, you are told instead of one change vanishing.
Minimal ID data
Only the last 4 digits of an ID are kept, and the photo and ID are removed when a tenant leaves.

Does rent money go through Rentclear?
No. Tenants pay you directly by UPI, cash or bank transfer. Rentclear only records the payment and gives it a receipt number. It never collects or holds rent.
Do my tenants need to install anything?
No. You run Rentclear on your own phone or computer. Reminders and receipts reach tenants on WhatsApp, which they already use.
Are WhatsApp reminders sent automatically?
No. Rentclear opens WhatsApp with the message already written, with the amount and your UPI ID. You check it and tap Send, one tenant at a time. It comes from your own number.
Can I use it on a computer too?
Yes. Sign in from any phone or computer browser with the same account. On a phone you can also add it to your home screen like an app.
What happens when the internet is slow?
The app shows whether your changes are Saved, Saving or Offline. A payment is only shown as done once the server confirms it, and it is never saved twice.
Can my manager use it?
Yes. Add a manager to your business. Some actions, such as deleting the business or changing the plan, are for the owner only.
Is the app in my language?
English is fully ready. Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Marathi are in the app as first drafts and are being checked by native speakers.
